This surah is one of the first in which a prostration (Sajdah) appeared — the Prophet ﷺ and all who were present, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, prostrated when he recited it. Its opening verses on revelation are among the most authoritative.
📖 About Surah An-Najm
An-Najm opens with an oath by the stars. It describes the revelation of the Quran through Jibril, the Mi'raj (ascension), refutes false beliefs about the daughters of Allah, and calls to submission.
