The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites Ha Mim Al-Dukhan on a Friday night, he will be forgiven.' This makes it especially recommended on Thursday nights (the eve of Friday).

Ad-Dukhan mentions the 'blessed night' (Laylat al-Qadr) on which the Quran was revealed, a prophecy of smoke as a sign of the Last Day, and the story of Pharaoh and Musa.
