Establishes the importance of Tahajjud (night prayer) as a means of spiritual preparation: 'Indeed, the hours of the night are more impactful and more suitable for words.' (73:6) — the night is the time when the heart is most open.
📖 About Surah Al-Muzzammil
Al-Muzzammil was revealed early in the Prophet's ﷺ mission. Allah commands him to rise for night prayer (Tahajjud), to recite the Quran in a measured way (Tarteel), and to be patient with the Quraysh.
