The refrain 'Woe that day to the deniers!' repeated 10 times — more than any other refrain — drives home the urgency of accountability. It was the last surah Ibn Mas'ud heard the Prophet ﷺ recite in prayer.
📖 About Surah Al-Mursalat
Al-Mursalat opens with oaths by the winds (or angels) sent forth in succession. It warns of the Day of Judgment with the powerful refrain: 'Woe that day to the deniers!'
