This surah describes the institution of Hajj — the largest annual gathering of humanity. The call of Ibrahim to Hajj still echoes: 'And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot and every lean camel.' (22:27)
📖 About Surah Al-Hajj
Al-Hajj is one of the few surahs to contain two obligatory prostrations (Sajdat al-Tilawa). It discusses the Hajj pilgrimage, the Day of Judgment, and has both Meccan and Medinan verses.
