Prophet Ismail (AS), the first son of Ibrahim, was the one left in the desert of Makkah as a child. He helped his father rebuild the Kaaba and was famously willing to be sacrificed.

Ismail (AS) is the forefather of the Arabs and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). His devotion was so pure that he told his father: 'Do what you are commanded; you will find me, if Allah wills, among the steadfast.' His legacy is revived every year during Eid al-Adha.
